BJP Chief Criticizes Rahul Gandhi Over Telangana Student Protest
A leader from the BJP in Telangana, N Ramachandra Rao, said that Rahul Gandhi was upset about police in Delhi but ignored problems in Telangana.
He talked about students in Hyderabad who were stopped by police when they wanted jobs.
Rao said Rahul should have spoken up about the Telangana chief minister not paying student fees.
He also mentioned a past protest in 1969 where students were hurt and no apology was given.
Rao thinks Congress uses students for political gain.
Telangana BJP chief N Ramachandra Rao accuses Rahul Gandhi of selective outrage over police action in Delhi.
Rao cites 2023 Hyderabad student protests where police suppressed job‑seeking students, claiming Congress leadership was silent.
He argues Rahul should have criticized Telangana CM Revanth Reddy for failing to reimburse student fees and for alleged land grabs.
Rao references 1969 Telangana agitation, stating no apology was offered for firing on students.
The chief alleges Congress used students as political pawns for personal gain.
