ICC Chair Jay Shah Meets IOC President to Discuss Cricket's Olympic Return
Imagine your favorite sport, cricket, is going to be in the Olympics!
The boss of cricket, Jay Shah, met with the boss of the Olympics, Kirsty Coventry, in Switzerland.
They talked about how cricket will be played at the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028.
Cricket hasn't been in the Olympics for a very, very long time, since 1900!
It will be played in a fast version called T20, with six teams for boys and six teams for girls.
Each team can have 15 players, and there are 90 spots for athletes in total for each competition.
The girls will play first, and then the boys will play.
All the games will happen in a place called Pomona, which is not too far from Los Angeles.
ICC chairman Jay Shah met IOC president Kirsty Coventry in Switzerland.
The meeting focused on cricket's return to the Olympic Games at the LA28 Olympics.
Cricket will be played in the T20 format with six teams each for men and women.
Each event will have 90 athlete quotas, with 15-member squads per nation.
