Wolf Attacks Terrify Bahraich Villages

Wolf Attacks Terrify Bahraich Villages

In the villages of Mallahanpurwa and Jaruva near the Ghagra river in Bahraich, wolves have been attacking people, especially children.

In the last two weeks, three children have been killed and one injured.

The villagers are very scared and now escort their children to school every day.

The wolves seem to be entering the houses because many homes have thatched structures without proper doors.

The government is trying to help by installing streetlights, reinforcing homes, and cutting sugarcane fields where wolves hide.

Two wolves have been killed recently, and efforts are ongoing to capture the remaining ones.

The villagers are also patrolling the area with the forest department to keep everyone safe.
