Karnataka Launches 74,000-Post Recruitment with Tightened Exam Security
The Karnataka government is starting a big hiring plan for 74,000 jobs in the state.
They want to make sure the exams are fair, so they will use new technology like randomised questions and special paper that can’t be tampered with.
The Finance Department has already approved the plan.
A committee will look at how the state’s recruitment agency works and suggest changes.
People who see any cheating can call a special phone number to report it.
Karnataka will begin recruiting 74,000 civil service posts starting Sunday.
New security measures include randomised question banks, tamper‑proof packaging, jammers in every exam room, and real‑time OMR sheet uploads.
The Finance Department has approved the recruitment and the process will be announced over six months.
A committee led by S V Bhaskar and Ranganath will review KPSC’s functioning and recommend reforms.
Candidates, parents and media are urged to report malpractice via helpline 112 or recruitment control room numbers.
