China Won't Invest in India's Critical Sectors: CEA
India's Chief Economic Adviser, V Anantha Nageswaran, said that China doesn't want to invest in India's important industries.
This is because China doesn't want India to grow too much, like the West allowed China to grow.
Last year, the adviser suggested that India should get investments from China to help its exports.
But now, he says India should try to attract companies that are leaving China instead.
The idea is that China doesn't want to make the same mistake the West did by helping another country grow too much.
So, India needs to find other ways to grow its economy.
China won't invest in India's critical sectors to prevent India's growth.
CEA V Anantha Nageswaran previously suggested attracting Chinese investments.
India should focus on attracting foreign manufacturers leaving China.
China aims to avoid repeating the West's mistakes by enabling India's growth.
FDI from China was seen as more advantageous than trade to reduce trade deficit.
