February 2026 Visa Bulletin Freezes India Green Card Dates
The February 2026 US Visa Bulletin shows that green card dates for Indian applicants have not changed from January.
This means that people waiting for employment-based and family-sponsored green cards will have to wait longer.
For jobs, the dates are the same as last month, so no one can move forward yet.
For families, the waiting times are very long, some over 10 years.
The good news is that there are no setbacks, but there is also no progress.
People are advised to file their papers as soon as they can to get work permits and other benefits while they wait.
February 2026 Visa Bulletin shows no changes in green card dates for Indian applicants from January 2026.
Employment-based categories (EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, EB-4, EB-5) remain unchanged with no forward movement or retrogression.
Family-sponsored categories (F1, F2A, F2B, F3, F4) also see no movement, with some categories facing waits of over a decade.
Filing dates for employment-based categories remain ahead of final action dates, allowing applicants to file early for benefits.
F2A family-sponsored category offers the most procedural flexibility with filing dates well ahead of final action dates.
