Costco Seeks Refund on Trump's Tariffs
Costco, a big company that runs large warehouse stores, is asking for its money back on some taxes it paid.
These taxes, called tariffs, were put on goods coming into the country by President Trump.
Some courts have said these tariffs might not be legal, and the Supreme Court is deciding about them.
Costco is worried that if the tariffs are found to be illegal, it might be too late to get its money back if it waits.
So, it's asking for the money now, before the final decision.
Other companies like Revlon and Bumble Bee Foods are doing the same thing.
It's not clear yet if or how the money will be returned, but Costco wants to make sure it doesn't miss out.
Costco is seeking a refund on tariffs paid under President Trump's import taxes.
The US Court of International Trade and the Federal Circuit Court ruled Trump's tariffs illegal.
The Supreme Court is currently reviewing the case, with a decision possibly by summer.
Costco fears it may lose the right to a refund if it waits for the Supreme Court's decision.
Other companies like Revlon and Bumble Bee Foods have made similar refund requests.
