Sarfaraz Khan's Phone Use During U19 World Cup 2026 Sparks Debate
During the IND vs PAK match in the ICC U19 World Cup 2026, Sarfaraz Ahmed, a former Pakistan captain and now a team mentor, was seen using a mobile phone in the dressing room.
The ICC has rules that say no one can use a phone in these areas to keep the game fair.
But Sarfaraz is also listed as a team manager, and managers are allowed to use phones for important cricket stuff and personal things.
So, even though it looked like he might be breaking the rules, he was actually allowed to use the phone in this special case.
Sarfaraz Ahmed, former Pakistan captain, is serving as a team mentor for the Pakistan U19 team in the ICC U19 World Cup 2026.
Broadcast cameras captured Sarfaraz using a mobile phone in the dressing room during the IND vs PAK clash.
