Supreme Court Declines Interference in Raidurg Land Auction

Supreme Court Declines Interference in Raidurg Land Auction

The Telangana government plans to auction about 11 acres of land in Raidurg.

The starting price is Rs 175 crore for each acre.

Some private parties say they have rights over the land.

Juvvadi Pranaya Simha Rao asked the Supreme Court to stop the auction.

He said the land might be connected to property discussed in earlier Kancha Gachibowli cases.

The Telangana government disagreed and said the two properties are separate.

It said the auction land is about five kilometres away.

The Supreme Court did not stop the auction.

It said the dispute should be considered by the Telangana High Court.
