Singapore Jewish Community Feels Less Secure Amidst Israel-Palestine Conflict

Imagine Singapore is like a big neighborhood where everyone lives together peacefully.

Recently, because of a big fight happening far away between two groups, some people in Singapore who belong to one of those groups are starting to feel a little scared.

The leader of the neighborhood, a minister named Shanmugam, said that some people have been treated badly, like having mean things written on walls or being yelled at.

He wants everyone to remember that in Singapore, it's not okay to make people feel bad just because of what's happening in other countries.

Everyone in the neighborhood has the right to feel safe and play together, no matter what they look like or what they believe.

Even if people in other places are fighting, the neighbors in Singapore should be kind to each other and not bring those fights here.

The police are looking into the mean things that happened to make sure everyone stays safe.
