PCB Selects Six Cities for Two New Pakistan Super League Franchises
Imagine Pakistan has a big cricket tournament called the PSL, like a special club.
The people who run the tournament want to add two more teams to make it even bigger!
They looked at many cities and picked six places that could have a new team: Hyderabad, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit, and Rawalpindi.
Now, people who want to own one of these new teams can ask for the special papers to buy them.
This will happen very soon, and the PCB wants to make sure everything is fair and clear for everyone involved.
They are also talking to the teams that are already in the league about new rules for the next ten years.
This is all to help Pakistan cricket become more famous around the world.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has identified six cities for potential new Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises.
Bidders can choose from Hyderabad, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit, and Rawalpindi for the two new teams.
The tender process for the sale of the new franchises will begin shortly, with sales expected to conclude next month.
The PCB has also issued renewal offer letters to existing franchises for the next 10 years.
The PCB has engaged an independent valuer, EY MENA, to ensure transparency in the valuation process for new and existing franchises.
