Thailand Reverses Afternoon Alcohol Ban After Tourism Backlash
Imagine Thailand decided to stop selling yummy juice drinks between 2 in the afternoon and 5 in the afternoon.
Lots of people, like tourists who were visiting, got a bit sad and complained.
So, the grown-ups in charge had a meeting and decided to let people buy their drinks again during those afternoon hours.
They will try this for about six months, and if it works well, they might keep it that way for even longer!
Thailand has reversed its ban on afternoon alcohol sales.
Alcohol can now be sold between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. daily.
This change is part of a six-month pilot program beginning in early December.
