Germany Targets Double Indian Visitor Overnight Stays by 2030

Germany wants more visitors from India to stay overnight in the country.

Its tourism board aims to double these stays by 2030.

In 2025, Indian visitors stayed overnight 928,635 times, which was more than in 2024.

The increase continued during the first seven months of 2026.

Germany hopes visitors will take longer holidays and explore more regions.

It also wants them to come back again.

Direct flights can make travel easier, while costs and visa processing can affect plans.

The tourism board says India and Germany have strong economic and cultural ties.
