Andhra Pradesh Prepares for 2027 Census
The Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh had a meeting with district collectors to talk about the upcoming 2027 Census.
He said it's very important for everyone to know about the census so it can be done well.
The census will happen in two parts: first, they will list all the houses, and then they will count all the people.
The Chief Secretary told the collectors to make sure everyone understands what the census is and why it's important.
He also said that special materials will be made to help people learn about the census.
The last census was in 2011, so this one is very important.
The Chief Secretary also talked about other things, like setting up small business parks and building new hospitals.
The census will start in April and go until September, and there will be training for the people who will do the counting.
Chief Secretary K Vijayanand directed district collectors to raise public awareness about the 2027 Census.
A video conference was held to review census preparations, MSME parks, and healthcare infrastructure.
Public cooperation is crucial for the successful conduct of the census, with detailed guidelines issued by the state census director.
The census will be conducted in two phases: House Listing and Housing Census, followed by Population Enumeration.
Training programs for Principal Census Officers and Municipal Commissioners will be organized in the third week of February.
