SEBI chief launches two portals to strengthen cyber defence

The boss of a big group that watches over India's stock markets made an important announcement.

His name is Tuhin Kanta Pandey, and he leads an organization called SEBI.

He spoke at a special meeting about keeping computers safe from bad people called hackers.

He said that cyber threats can cross borders, so everyone needs to work together.

SEBI is launching two new websites, called portals, to help with this.

One portal helps companies report when they have been attacked by hackers.

The other portal is a place where people can share tips and warnings about computer dangers.

He also said that computers of the future, called quantum computers, could break today's locks, so we need to prepare now.

The goal is to make sure that even if an attack happens, companies can recover and learn from it.
