Western Railway's Bardoli Shed Begins First Outward Piecemeal Loading

Western Railway’s Bardoli Goods Shed sent out goods for the first time using a piecemeal loading service.

The goods were paper bundles made by JK Paper Mills Ltd.

M/s Humcha Padmavati Logistics requested the shipment on 22 August 2026.

A covered railway wagon was prepared for loading two days later.

The wagon carried 56.73 tonnes of paper.

It traveled 2,450 kilometers from Bardoli to Azara in Assam.

The shipment earned more than Rs.

1.30 lakh for the railway.

Railway officials said this creates a new option for sending goods outward from Bardoli.
