1.10 Lakh Students Shift to Government Schools in Andhra Pradesh

In Andhra Pradesh, a lot of students, about 1.10 lakh, have moved from private schools to government schools this year.

The education minister, N. Lokesh, said this is because government schools have gotten much better.

He talked about this at a big meeting with parents and teachers.

He also said that a mother asked for her child to go to a government school, showing that more parents trust these schools now.

The government is even making one school in each area as good as international schools.

The minister told students to respect their elders and work hard, like the famous scientist APJ Abdul Kalam.

He also said schools should not have politics in them.
