Threads Tests New Community Features
Threads, which is owned by Meta, is trying out new things to make its community spaces better.
They are testing two new features.
The first one is called 'Flairs,' which lets users add special labels under their usernames.
For example, if you're part of a book community, you can add 'Author' as your Flair.
The second feature is 'Champion Badges,' which are special awards given to users who are very active and helpful in their communities.
These badges will show on their profiles.
Threads has over 200 communities on different topics like basketball, TV, K-pop, and books.
Right now, these new features are being tested inside the company, and they might add them to the communities later.
Threads is testing 'Flairs' to allow users to add customizable labels under their usernames.
The 'Champion' badge will recognize top contributors in specific communities.
These features are similar to those found on Reddit.
Threads has over 200 communities across various interests and topics.
The features are currently being tested internally and may roll out in future updates.
