PU Reschedules Exams Due to Syllabus Discrepancy
Imagine students were given a test, but the questions were about things they never learned!
That's what happened at Panjab University.
Some students found questions on their exams that weren't in their textbooks.
The university realized the test was wrong because it used a new set of rules (NEP) for students who were still using the old rules.
To be fair, the university decided to give the students a new test on a different day.
The exams are for students who are taking a repeat, or extra category.
This change makes sure everyone has a fair chance to do well.
Panjab University rescheduled BA/BSc second semester exams for English, Hindi, and Punjabi electives.
The change was made after students received question papers with content outside the syllabus.
The original exam date was May 26; the new date is May 31.
The exams will be held from 2 PM to 5 PM at the same venues.
The confusion arose due to the use of NEP guidelines for students under the old curriculum.
