Uttar Pradesh Plans Aarogya Setu Access To Patient Reports
The Uttar Pradesh government is using technology to make medical reports easier to receive.
In the future, patients may get government-hospital test reports on the Aarogya Setu app.
They will be able to keep these reports on their phones.
They can also share them with doctors when needed.
More than 900 government hospitals have connected their laboratory and hospital computer systems.
Reports are already being sent through WhatsApp and SMS.
This means patients may not need to visit hospitals repeatedly to collect reports.
Doctors can see test results sooner and begin treatment more quickly.
Uttar Pradesh is preparing to send government-hospital lab reports to patients through the Aarogya Setu app.

The Laboratory Information System has been integrated with the Hospital Management Information System in more than 900 government hospitals.
Lab reports are currently being sent through WhatsApp and SMS, reducing repeat hospital visits.
