Three Arrested Over Fake Ayurvedic Medicine Firm in Bareilly
Police in Bareilly arrested three people accused of running a fake Ayurvedic medicine company.
The company allegedly advertised medicines online and claimed they could cure diseases quickly.
Police said the business did not have the required licences.
Investigators found 75 packets of suspected fake medicines at the site.
They also found fake bills and shipping labels.
The accused allegedly took orders through websites and phone calls.
One accused reportedly handled the website and online advertisements, while parcels were sent by courier with cash-on-delivery payment.
Police said the investigation is still continuing.

Police registered a case under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 66D of the Information Technology Act.
