Telangana Boosts Health and Agriculture Investments
Telangana is planning big changes to make people healthier and help farmers.
They want to spend more money on hospitals and doctors, especially for moms and babies.
They also want to use computers to keep track of everyone's health.
For farmers, they are going to help them grow food even when the weather changes a lot.
This includes growing special crops that can handle different weather and using new technology.
The goal is to make sure everyone in Telangana is healthy and has enough food to eat.
Telangana plans to double health investment to 8% of GSDP, focusing on infrastructure and digital health initiatives.
A Rs. 30,000 crore investment will upgrade 1,800 primary and 140 secondary hospitals, with Rs. 9,400 crore for super-specialty development.
The state aims to improve maternal health, reduce non-communicable diseases, and expand medical tourism and biotechnology.
Telangana's RARE strategy focuses on climate-smart agriculture, livestock production, and forest-based livelihoods to support rural economies.
The state will maintain 20% public expenditure on agriculture, promoting climate-resilient crops and agro-processing zones to increase farmer incomes.
