Maruti Suzuki targets 9 lakh CNG vehicle sales

Maruti Suzuki targets 9 lakh CNG vehicle sales

Maruti Suzuki India, the leading car maker, is planning to sell around 9 lakh CNG vehicles this year.

This is a big increase of nearly 30% compared to last year.

The demand for CNG vehicles has gone up because of higher fuel prices caused by the war in West Asia.

Maruti Suzuki sells 15 different CNG models, including small cars, vans, and SUVs.

In the first three months of this year, they sold 2.2 lakh CNG vehicles, which is 58% more than the same time last year.

Even their SUVs, like the Victor and Brezza, are popular with CNG options.

The Brezza S-CNG has special features to make it more fuel-efficient.

Last month, CNG vehicles made up 42% of their total sales.
