Kaif Recommends Suryakumar Yadav's Optimal Batting Position
Mohammed Kaif, a former Indian cricketer, talked about where Suryakumar Yadav should bat in T20I matches.
He said that even though Suryakumar has done better batting at number 4, if the opening batsmen do well and play for 6-7 overs, Suryakumar should come in at number 3.
This way, he can play more balls and help India score more runs.
Kaif also mentioned that Suryakumar is a great captain and a big-match player.
He believes that one good innings of 50-60 runs can bring back Suryakumar's form.
Under Suryakumar's leadership, India has only lost 4 T20I matches and is undefeated in bilateral series.
Mohammed Kaif suggests Suryakumar Yadav should bat at No. 3 if the opening partnership sets up a good score.
Suryakumar's record is better at No. 4, but Kaif believes batting at No. 3 can benefit India if he plays more balls.
In recent matches, Suryakumar has struggled at No. 3, scoring 156 runs at an average of 22.29 and a strike rate of 134.48.
Under Suryakumar's captaincy, India has suffered only 4 T20I defeats and remains undefeated in bilateral series.
Kaif praises Suryakumar's leadership, noting his focus on improving the team even after victories.
