Lodha Developers Alleges ₹3.84 Crore Fraud by Ex-Employee
Lodha Developers, a big real estate company, has accused a former employee, Shivaji Govindrao Jadhav, of cheating them.
They say Jadhav tricked the company into giving away five expensive flats worth ₹3.84 crore to people who were not actually living on the land.
He did this by lying about who owned the land and making fake promises to landowners.
The company found out about this fraud during an internal check after Jadhav resigned.
Now, the police have registered a case against him for cheating and forgery.
Lodha Developers accused former Business Development Officer Shivaji Govindrao Jadhav of fraudulently allotting premium flats worth ₹3.84 crore.
Jadhav allegedly misrepresented land ownership details to secure the allotment of flats as compensation for non-existent encroachments.
The flats were located in premium Lodha projects in Thane, including Lodha Supremus, Lodha Woodlands, and others.
The fraud was discovered during an internal audit after Jadhav's resignation in September 2024.
An FIR has been registered against Jadhav at the N.M. Joshi Marg police station for cheating, criminal breach of trust, and forgery.
