India-South Africa Ties Strengthen Ahead of G20 Summit
Leaders from many important countries are meeting in South Africa for a big discussion called the G20 Summit.
India's Prime Minister, Modi, is going to this meeting, and South Africa's ambassador to India says this shows how good friends India and South Africa are.
He also hopes India will build one of its special engineering schools, called an IIT, in South Africa because they need more skilled people.
The ambassador feels that it's a shame that the leader of America is choosing not to come to this meeting.
He thinks this is a missed chance for America and a disappointing move for the whole continent of Africa and other developing countries.
He also believes that even without the US, the meeting will still be productive because many other countries are committed to working together on important global problems like helping poorer countries with their debts and protecting the environment.
