Half-Printed Resume Goes Viral, Sparking Debate Over Job Tactic
A picture of a partly printed resume is being shared online.
It shows a short career goal and part of a photo.
The only other sentence says, “Hire me to unlock my full potential.”
The page does not show the person’s education, work history, or contact information.
Some people think the unusual message might help the applicant stand out.
Others think a recruiter or computer system would reject it because important details are missing.
People online are debating whether it is a clever joke or a real job-hunting idea.
A Reddit post reshared an image of a resume printed only halfway down the page.
The document shows a career objective and partial headshot, followed by the line, “Hire me to unlock my full potential.”
The rest of the page contains no education, work experience, or contact details.
Some commenters said the unusual pitch could make a recruiter curious enough to invite the applicant for an interview.
Others called the application a joke or said automated screening systems could reject it for missing information.
