Kolkata Schoolchildren Negotiate Peace in Mahabharata Game
Imagine a game where you get to play as characters from the Mahabharata, like Draupadi, Krishna, and Arjun.
That's what happened in Kolkata!
Schoolchildren from different schools came together to try and solve the big problem of war through talking and negotiating instead of fighting.
They had to think creatively and come up with solutions to prevent the battle of Kurukshetra.
The game was called 'Kurukshetra Konundrum' and was organized by the Tagore Institute of Peace Studies.
The kids had to role-play and negotiate peace treaties, and the winning team came up with a clever idea about sharing a river.
It was all about learning how to solve problems without violence and understanding different perspectives.
The judges were impressed by how the kids used their wisdom to find solutions.
It was a fun and educational way to learn about peace and diplomacy!
