Press Club Condemns Delhi Police After Journalists Allege Sexual Harassment

Three women journalists said Delhi Police personnel sexually harassed them at a protest.

The protest happened on Saturday at Jantar Mantar.

Students and Opposition members were among those protesting.

They were demanding action against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Their demand was connected to the SIR row and the deletion of voters.

The Press Club of India criticized how police treated journalists.

It said it was shocked and dismayed.

The club said this kind of behaviour should not become normal in a democracy.
