Telangana Government Unveils Rs 60,000 Crore Road Development Projects
The government of Telangana wants to build a lot of new and better roads, which will cost a huge amount of money, about 60,000 crore rupees.
They believe that having great roads will encourage big companies from all over the world to come and build factories and offices in Telangana.
This will mean more jobs for people and more money coming into the state.
Some of the big projects include making the road between Hyderabad and Vijayawada much wider, building a big ring road around the state to connect different areas, and creating new highways and elevated roads.
They are also planning to improve roads in rural areas and make them safer.
The government hopes these new roads will make Telangana a very important place for businesses.
Telangana government announced road development projects worth Rs 60,799 crore.
The initiative aims to transform the state into a hub for multinational companies and attract significant investments.
Key projects include expanding the Hyderabad–Vijayawada National Highway to eight lanes and the Regional Ring Road (RRR) as a six-lane expressway.
New rural roads will be laid, and single-lane roads will be upgraded to double lanes, with tenders for HAM projects expected soon.
