Mumbai Police Seeks Interpol Help in 26/11 Trial

Mumbai Police is trying to formally notify six Pakistani nationals about a court case.

Two of the people named are Hafiz Saeed and Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi.

The case concerns the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.

The six people are currently living in Pakistan.

A court had ordered them to appear before it.

Because they are outside India, the police asked the Ministry of Home Affairs for help.

The ministry may work with Interpol to deliver the order.

The trial could proceed without the accused being physically present, which is called an in absentia trial.
