DMart Q2 FY27 Profit Falls Sequentially Despite Revenue Growth
DMart’s parent company, Avenue Supermarts, shared its results for the quarter ending September 30, 2026.
The company made ₹742.98 crore in net profit during the quarter.
That was less than it made in the quarter before.
However, its revenue from sales went up to ₹19,644.01 crore.
The company’s expenses also rose, and they increased faster than its revenue from the previous quarter.
Compared with the same quarter a year earlier, both net profit and revenue were higher.
For the first six months of the financial year, net profit and revenue also increased from the year before.
The auditor issued an unmodified limited review conclusion, but said results from three subsidiaries had not been independently reviewed.
Avenue Supermarts reported consolidated net profit of ₹742.98 crore for Q2 FY27, down 13.7% from the preceding quarter.
Revenue from operations rose 4.5% sequentially to ₹19,644.01 crore.
Total expenses increased 5.6% to ₹18,632.70 crore, while profit before tax fell 13.4% to ₹1,024.84 crore.
Compared with Q2 FY26, net profit increased 8.5% and revenue from operations rose 17.8%.
For the six months ended September 30, 2026, net profit rose 10% and revenue increased 16.4% year on year.
