Producer Recalls Singeetham Srinivasa Rao’s Lifelong Passion for Cinema

Singeetham Srinivasa Rao was a filmmaker who loved movies throughout his life.

Producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad says Rao was always interested in films and kept up with new releases.

The two worked together on Aditya 369, a science-fiction adventure released in 1991.

The film starred Nandamuri Balakrishna.

Producer Lagadapati Sridhar says Rao tried many kinds of stories and made films in Telugu and Tamil.

Rao also worked with Balakrishna on Bhairava Dweepam and Sri Krishnarjuna Vijayam.

Sridhar says Rao kept coming up with ideas even in his 90s.

He says Rao’s last film, Sing Geetham, came out a few months before the article.
