Nana Patekar Recalled ‘Bad Memories’ From Parinda Set

Nana Patekar and director Vidhu Vinod Chopra worked together on the film Parinda.

Patekar said he had bad memories of working with Chopra.

He said the director’s loud call of “action” made it harder for him to get ready for a scene.

Chopra also described arguments between them while making the film.

He said one disagreement began over food, and another became a scuffle in which he tore Patekar’s kurta.

Patekar wore a vest in the scene filmed afterward.

Chopra said they later made up and hugged.

The article also reports that Patekar died at his home in Goa, aged 75.
