Supreme Court Grants Bail to Arvind Dham in Amtek Fraud Case
The Supreme Court of India has allowed Arvind Dham, the former head of Amtek Group, to be released on bail.
He was arrested for a big money laundering case involving a huge bank fraud of Rs 27,000 crore.
The Delhi High Court had earlier said no to his bail, thinking it might affect the investigation.

The ED found that the companies manipulated their financial records to get more loans, causing big losses to banks.
The Supreme Court decided to grant bail, saying the case is complex and needs a detailed investigation.
The court also mentioned that keeping someone in jail for a long time before trial is not fair and can be seen as a form of punishment.
