Eric Schmidt denies rape, spy allegations by ex-mistress
Eric Schmidt, the former CEO of Google, is being accused by his ex-mistress, Michelle Ritter, of serious things like rape, harassment, and spying on her.
She says he did these bad things to her when they were in a relationship and working together on a startup.
Schmidt says she is lying and trying to make up stories to get money from him.
They met in 2020 when she was 26 and he was 65.
Ritter says Schmidt promised her he was separated from his wife, but she later felt controlled and abused.
Schmidt's lawyers say they have messages that prove Ritter is not telling the truth.
The court documents show both sides saying the other is lying.
Michelle Ritter accuses former Google CEO Eric Schmidt of rape, sexual battery, harassment, domestic violence, and installing spyware on her computer.
Schmidt denies the allegations, accusing Ritter of lying and fabricating claims to extort him.
They met in September 2020 when Ritter was 26 and Schmidt was 65, during a business meeting for StarX Networks.
Ritter claims Schmidt pressured her to lose weight and behave a certain way during business meetings.
Schmidt's lawyers claim they have text messages that disprove Ritter's allegations.
