Vemulawada to become spiritual tourism hub
Vemulawada, a very old and special temple town in Telangana, is going to get a big makeover.
The government wants to make it a top place for people who want to visit religious sites and have fun.
They are adding boats for people to ride on the water, a ropeway to go up a hill, and even a model airplane on a hill for people to take pictures.
The town has a famous temple where people go to pray and do special rituals.
The government is spending a lot of money to make this happen, so more people can visit and enjoy their time there.
Vemulawada, known as the 'Dakshina Kashi' of Telangana, is being developed as a spiritual tourism hub.
The Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple attracts devotees for rituals like Kode Mokku and relief from Shani Dosha.
Government plans include boating facilities at Gudi Cheruvu and Mid Manair reservoir with a budget of Rs. 40 crore.
A ropeway to Nampally Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy hill shrine and an aircraft model installation are proposed attractions.
The temple complex houses shrines for both Shaivites and Vaishnavites, offering spiritual significance and purification rituals.
