Man Carries Mother Across Flooded Stream in India
A man named Ramdas helped his sick mother, Duribai, who had a fever, by carrying her on his shoulders across a waist‑deep flooded stream.
They were in a village called Borilalguda in the Kerameri area of Kumaram Bheem Asifabad district.
There was no bridge or safe way to cross the water, so Ramdas had to wade through it.
People in the area have asked for a bridge for a long time, but it hasn't been built yet.
Because of this, the community is still at risk when it rains heavily.
Ramdas carried his ailing mother, Duribai, on his shoulders across a waist‑deep flooded stream in Kumaram Bheem Asifabad district.
The crossing took place at Anarpalli Vagu near Borilalguda village in Kerameri mandal on Monday.
Duribai was suffering from fever and there was no safe alternative route to cross the swollen water.
Residents have repeatedly called for a bridge or other crossing to prevent such dangerous situations during monsoon rains.
The lack of infrastructure continues to put local residents at risk during heavy rains.
