Chikkamagaluru to Get 150 New BSNL Towers for Enhanced Connectivity
The government is helping Chikkamagaluru, a popular tourist spot, get much better phone and internet service.
They're building 150 new BSNL towers, which is a big deal for the area.
This is because the region has many hilly areas and the houses are spread out.
The local MP said this is happening to make sure everyone can connect.
They're also getting lots of extra batteries.
This will make sure that more people have good internet and phone coverage.
The new plan aims for one tower for every 300 homes, improving connectivity in the area.
The central government approved 150 new BSNL towers for Chikkamagaluru.
Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Kota Srinivas Poojari announced the development.
The initiative aims to improve connectivity in the Malnad region.
Chikkamagaluru received 50 out of 90 allocated batteries for Karnataka.
