Hyderabad Metro Rail Construction Begins in Old City
Imagine a new train track is being built in the older part of Hyderabad!
Workers are starting to mark where the train poles will go.
They're building a train line to help people travel easily and help businesses too.
Some buildings are being taken down so the train line can be built.
The work is being done carefully, so it doesn't bother everyone.
The new train will help people move around the city and make it easier for people to get to different places.
Metro pillar markings commenced in Hyderabad's Old City at Chandrayangutta.
Pillars will be spaced approximately 30 feet apart along the 7.5-km stretch.
Around 400 of 1,100 properties have been demolished for the project.
Demolition occurs at night to minimize traffic issues during construction.
