Suzuki Plans Affordable ADAS Expansion Across Future Maruti Models

Suzuki Plans Affordable ADAS Expansion Across Future Maruti Models

Suzuki wants more cars to have safety technology that can help prevent crashes.

It is especially interested in doing this in India.

Suzuki says India had about 1.77 lakh road accident deaths in 2024.

The company believes safety systems should not be limited to expensive cars.

Its plan would make emergency braking and lane-departure prevention standard on future vehicles.

Other comfort-focused features could remain optional.

Suzuki is working on camera-based systems to make ADAS cheaper.

The Baleno already has Level 2 ADAS on its highest variant.

Future versions of the Fronx and other Maruti Suzuki models could get similar technology at lower prices.
