Infested Rice Found at Anganwadi Centers in Himachal
Imagine a place where little kids go to learn and play, called Anganwadi centers.
These centers give children food.
But in Himachal Pradesh, some rice that was supposed to be for these kids had tiny bugs and worms in it.
Someone checked ten of these centers and saw that the rice was yucky.
The centers were found locked, which means there might be problems with how the food is stored or given out.
Now, people are looking into what went wrong to make sure the kids get safe food.
Rice meant for children was found infested.
The infestation included weevil larvae and moth worms.
The discovery was made at 10 Anganwadi centers.
The centers are located in Kupvi subdivision.
The inspection was conducted by the State Food Commission.
