31 Hyderabad Pilgrims Safe After Nepal-Tibet Flood Fears

Floods near the Nepal-Tibet border made many Hyderabad families worry about relatives travelling in the region.

A group of 31 Hyderabad pilgrims was later confirmed safe in Tibet.

Former DRDO chairman G Satheesh Reddy and his wife were part of the group.

They had crossed the dangerous area before the worst flooding began.

The pilgrims finished their Kailash Mansarovar journey and were staying in Saga County.

They were trying to find a safe way home through Tibet and China instead of Nepal.

The Telangana government set up a helpline to help families find other travellers.

Officials asked families to provide travel and identification details so agencies can search for their relatives.
