Indian Railways Adds Four Extra Kanpur‑Madurai Trips for Festive Rush

Indian Railways decided to run more trains between Kanpur in the north and Madurai in the south so people can travel easier during the holiday season.

They added four extra trips each week, starting in early August 2026.

The trains leave Kanpur at 8:10 am on Wednesdays and leave Madurai at 2:30 am on Saturdays.

They stop at many big stations like Bhopal, Nagpur, and Vijayawada.

In Bhopal, the railway also started a new way to give out tickets for urgent travel, called Tatkal, so people can get tickets faster.
