India Forms Panel to Prepare for the COP-33 Climate Summit
India is getting ready to host a big climate change meeting called COP-33 in 2028.
The Environment Ministry has created a special team to handle all the work needed.
India wants to host the meeting because the Prime Minister suggested it.
If it happens, it will be the second time India has hosted a climate summit, after one in 2002.
India has also promised to cut down on pollution and use more clean energy to help the environment.
This is part of a bigger plan to become a cleaner and greener country.
India's Environment Ministry established a COP-33 Cell.
The cell is for the 2028 UN climate summit.
India proposed hosting COP-33 at COP 28 in Dubai.
COP-33 could be India's second UN climate conference.
