Sydney Wedding Guests Brace Sagging Roof During Severe Storm

A strong storm hit parts of New South Wales on October 3.

At a wedding in Sydney, rain and hail collected on the venue roof.

Part of the roof began to sag under the weight.

Wedding guests used wooden chairs to push it up and help keep it from getting worse.

Outside, hail covered the venue's lawn.

Weather officials had warned several areas about severe thunderstorms.

The storms kept emergency crews busy, with more than 100 calls for help by 5 p.m.

A tornado near Ulladulla also damaged buildings, trees and powerlines.
