APJAC Amaravati Seeks United Movement Over Employees’ Pending Dues

APJAC Amaravati is an organization representing government employees and other workers.

It says many workers are still waiting for money and decisions from the government.

The organization estimates the unpaid dues at about Rs 40,000 crore.

It says workers have submitted requests and attended several meetings.

However, the group says the government has not yet announced clear decisions.

APJAC Amaravati will hold a state-level conference on August 28 in Vijayawada.

It wants different employee groups to work together.

The leaders say the movement is also about workers’ rights, dignity, job security, and future.
