South Africa Launches Digital ETA System for Visa Applications
South Africa has started a new way to apply for visas called ETA.
It's like a digital visa that you can get online.
Right now, it's only for people going to a special meeting called G20.
You can apply and get it in minutes, and it's free for now.
You can stay in South Africa for up to 90 days with this visa, and it's good for a whole year.
South Africa has rolled out its Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) system for visa applications.
The system is currently in pilot phase for G20 delegates from China, India, Indonesia, and Mexico.
Indian travellers are already securing approvals in minutes with one-year, multiple-entry validity.
The fully digital process includes creating a profile, filling an application form, and online payment.
The ETA allows stays of up to 90 days, extendable by another 90 days, and is valid for one year.
