Moral Verse Books Distributed to Students at Vijayawada Library
Students in Vijayawada received small books for free.
The books contain 108 moral verses and explanations of what they mean.
The books were given out at Tagore Library.
This happened during a programme called “Reading is Our Favourite.”
The author, P. Tulasi Nathan Naidu, sent 50 copies from Chittoor district.
The librarian thanked him for donating the books.
She said moral verses can teach children to respect parents, teachers and elders.
She also said memorising them may help improve memory and concentration.
The verses may also increase children’s interest in Telugu and build their vocabulary.
Fifty mini and pocket-sized books containing moral verses were distributed free to students.
The distribution took place at Tagore Library on Mahatma Gandhi Road in Vijayawada.
The activity was part of the “Reading is Our Favourite” programme.
