Bengaluru Court Remands Spurious Drugs Case Accused to SIT Custody

A court in Bengaluru sent Prashanth to investigators for more questioning.

He is accused of being the main person in a case involving fake medicines.

Investigators caught him at Bengaluru airport after he returned from Azerbaijan.

Officials had found the medicines at a farmhouse in Bidadi in August.

The raid also found machines, labels, and stamps used for repackaging medicines.

Investigators say cheaper medicines were put into new vials and given labels that looked like costly brands.

The products were allegedly meant to deceive buyers and earn money.

The investigation is being handled by a Special Investigation Team.
